Following the directive of Governor Roel Ragay Degamo, the Integrated Provincial Health Office immediately purchased an Ultra Low Temperature Freezer that could store vaccines that need extremely low temperature such as the Pfizer Comirnaty COVID-19 vaccines
Governor Degamo expressed gratitude to the national government for continuously sending COVID-19 vaccines for the NegOrenses
He had repeatedly called on the NegOrenses to get vaccinated when their turn comes to protect from the deadly COVID-19 and return to normal
Governor Degamo has earlier been vaccinated with the Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine
Pfizer vaccines require a minus 70 – 80 degrees Celsius storage facility to keep it’s efficacy. There is also a standby generator in case of power interruptions
