Governor Roel Ragay Degamo of Negros Oriental congratulated Kacie Gabrielle Marcelino-Tionko, a local swimmer, for her outstanding performance in the Batang Pinoy Games held in Vigan, Ilocos Sur last December 2022. Miss Tionko won a total of five gold medals in various swimming events, including the 100m Freestyle, 200m Freestyle, 400m Freestyle, 50m Freestyle, and 100m Breaststroke.
